Cheers to All the Dads

Recently, I’ve discussed a lot of options for gifts for the young, hip and eclectic fathers (and I’ll continue to do so in the coming days). I’ve also talked a lot about our recent move to Hollywood and what a change of pace it has been already.

Being in the middle of a bustling city, six stories above one of the most famous streets in the country, it made me sit down and think about some of the excursions my wife and I enjoyed before we had our little boy with us.

One trip that was especially memorable was an overnight camping trip up at Mt. Palomar. We had received a whole set of camping gear as wedding gifts and felt the urge to get out of the city for a night. We were ambitious, but our execution was a bit shoddy. We planned a hike, but only got about a quarter of the way before heading back to our campsite in favor of dinner and drinks.

Which leads me to the purpose of this article. We executed our “camp party” better than all other aspects of the trip. So when a package from Stanley arrived, I was thrilled that I would never have to deal with red plastic cups when venturing outside of the city (or even staying in).Tynology - Stanley

If you have a husband/boyfriend/father that enjoys camping almost as much as a perfectly served libation, then a variety of Stanley gear is your perfect bet for a gift he’s sure to love.

A solid setup includes a Classic Vacuum Growler (64 oz), an Adventure Stacking Pint Glass in Stainless Steel (16 oz), a Classic One Hand Vacuum Mug (16 oz), and an Adventure Stainless Steel Shot Glass Set. The best part of the Stanley products is that they’re industrial strength and made for life. The growler will literally keep a drink cold for 24 hours without having to refrigerate. I didn’t even know that was possible. The attention to detail is impressive.

Since we just got moved into our new place, I decided to take my better half down to our “urban” campsite, packed a few cocktails for the evening, and soaked in our new experience in tinseltown.

If you’re a father, be sure to take some time out to enjoy the finer things in life this weekend. I certainly know I will!

Cheers, Ty
