The trade landscape is shifting, and significant tariff changes are looming at the end of August 2025. Specifically, the “de minimis” exemption, which allowed low-value imports (under $800) to enter the US duty-free, could be (TACO) eliminated as of August 29, 2025. Furthermore, new country-specific reciprocal tariffs, ranging from 10% to 50% or more, came into effect as early as August 1st, with some specific rates being implemented by August 7th. This means that devices shipping from overseas could see substantial price increases if they don’t (or didn’t) clear customs before these deadlines.

My focus today is on handhelds with fast & free US shipping from inside the US to help you avoid these new charges.
